Sole Sports Massage

Sole Sports Massage is run by a team of friendly practicioners who have all taken part in sports at various levels for many years.

With over 20 years of running experience, with victories at many local and national events, and having a Personal Best for the 10km of 33mins, Head practitioner Jason is ideally placed to advise on a range of sports injuries, treatments and preventions.

Since becoming qualified in Sports Massage Therapy in 2004, Jason has worked with a range of clients, from top level triathletes and runners, to sporting newcomers and everyone in between.

Massage and sport

Jason’s knowledge gained from his years as a top level athlete himself and from working with such a wide range of sporting clients means that he has developed a range of techniques for working on and preventing injuries. Sports massage is not just for the Elite level athlete, regular massage should be part of your training schedule, no matter what your level or your sporting goals. Apart from identifying potential problems before they become full blown injuries, massage can help speed recovery and improve performance.

Massage and Life

Sports massage is also helpful when dealing with common everyday stresses and strains, from office based injuries such as repetitive strain injury to the stresses of simply leading an active lifestyle. Tightness in the shoulders and back are common complaints amongst office workers or those whose job means they drive for extended periods, this can be eased by the use of deep tissue massage.

Legs – Quads, Hamstrings and Calves

£25 for 45min session

Relieve tension and stress in shoulders and upper back, help to improve posture, flexibility and movement.

What to expect

When you come to us for massage, we will make you as comfortable and as relaxed as we can. We have quiet relaxed surroundings, as well as changing and shower facilities.

Before your treatment starts we will talk to you to identify the reasons for your visit, we will advise a suitable treatment and will explain what your treatment will be and how it will help. Where necessary we will refer you to other practitioners. You are strongly encouraged to give feedback on your treatment, both during and after.

You will be covered with a towel during your treatment and we would also advise you to wear your own shorts for comfort.

It is quite normal to feel a little soreness for a day or two after a deep tissue massage, this is a good sign that the body has reacted to the treatment and is healing effectively.

At the moment we are running a clinic in Worle High Street on a Monday evening. Jason will be coming down from Bristol for one night every week to run these sessions.
